Shaun of the Dead is a modern cult classic. I love that movie. Thank fully its not the only zombie movie I have ever watched.

Only thing missing from the quiz is the this one. When conforted with Zombies and a box of albums, which ones to you use as a lethal discus? LOL

AND bonus:

Heard on WLS in regards to Paris Hilton, "She is a special kind of stupid."
I almost choked on my own spit.

its late TMI

1. Does the carpet match the drapes?

The drapes get exposed to light more but more or less Yes they match.

2. Have you ever used personal information about someone to blackmail them?

I dont recall.

3. What is your favorite thing to lick?

Sweets of any form, use your imagination.

4. Have you ever had sex in a place of worship? (i.e., church, temple, mosque, etc.)

I am conviced that entry into those places cause the whole thing to collapse, though I am excused if invited for special events.

5. If you watch video porn, do you buy it in a store, from a catalog, online, or download it?

I will watch porn but I find the process of acquiring it time consuming. I get way better porn on the Big Screen in my head:)

Bonus:) How often do you "fake it".

I dont. Its counter productive. Why encourage bad behaviour? Some sex is better than other sex with the same partner, we both understand that not every time will be flashing lights and projected constelations. I must say though. Zig is a very unselfish man. *wink* damn I am a lucky woman.

New friends

It is a comfortable summer night. The air has finally cooled with the evening. Sun light escapes past the horizon. There is about an hour of visible light left.
I dress, put on my walking shoes, snatch my camera and keys on the way out the door.

I take the usually route, through the decaying downtown, strangled buildings reminders of better days. I see the open lot where the carni has been setting up for days, inadvertanetly holding my breath. I know they will have cotton candy, but not today. I am disappointed again, exsparated I exhale.

Hanging a left, I watch the crew struggle with some maintainence task. My destination nearly hidden by the mutliple trailers. The red stairs call me, and I wecome the sight. I hang for moment mid stair case, absorbing the essence of this little oasis. The air is cooler here, the smell earthier yet hints of flowering sweetness. I look about but the source cannot be found. The hum of tires on pavement drifts away replaced by the distant trickle of stream and melody of bird song.

Reaching the wooden walkway my step beat out a hollowed rythym. The light penetrates weakly under the tree canapy, below the hill. The scene is restorative to my soul. The land flat, punctuated by pavilion, swings, picnic tables and trees. The whole acreage hugged by brisk, cool water tumbling down its arching path ducking under the stoic bridges. To the far right is a the stone train bridge, I imagine its nearly as old as the town its self. The far left defines the northern border with its car bridge and parking lot.

Long strides loop with the wooden path, the stream tickles my ears more urgently. I duck under the low hanging mulberry tree branches, mindfull not to slip on the overripe falling berries. New sweetness penetrates my nares, my mouth waters. Several times I follow the loop, relaxing into every step I note the children come and go. Minutes later, smiling and waving to the couple looking for a quiet place to connect.

A gentleman crosses my path. Pleasantries exchange but I never miss a stride. Another loop and again we meet. This time the conversation is engaging. He is clean, mid 40's maybe, dark haired and tan skin. His voice is warm like fresh baked bread. I keep my distance as we talk for safety sake, mentally noting where the couple I greeted earlier rest now.

The light is fading. The fireflies have steadily increased in numbers. He is intrigued, with light accent and perfect English he inquires about the lights. I explain the fireflies, even catch one to show him up close. The poor scared little black and red with delicate wings dark in my hand. We watch the glow ignite shortly after it leaves my hand.

We talk of family, and business and travel. Nicola was born in Monte Negro. He still has family there. It is apparent he misses the ocean. The converstaion is pleasant but he excuses himself and fades into the ever increasing darkness.

I continue my pacing of the boards. The firefly light enticing a whimisical smile. I notice them in the mowed field and in the peripheral bushes. I see the scattered, wandering lights blink reflectively in the stream. The stream banks foliage nearly alive with intermittent glow. Its as if my own personal fireworks have arrived with the dusk.

It is truely magical. I feel blessed. I feel serene. Multiple times I say to myself.... just one more pass then I will go home. I want to lay in the grass. I want to put everything on hold for an eternity. Reluctantly I make the last step off the wooden path towards the cement. Walking back through town my sences are acutely alert and sorely dissapointed. But I take with me the whispers of the faeries and my heart flutters.

A tale of 4 Dads, plus some

I until recently I had 4 Dads. Sounds a bit strange but bear with me.

When I was concieved I immediately acquired a Dad. He gave me life. Some people say I even have his disposition. Some people even are very confused after meeting me because I remind them of him but they are not aware he had kids. My mom was very young, he wasnt much older. They dated casually, never even lived together. I love this Dad. We have an odd relationship. There is connection there but its is fragile. You see we have not spent much time together. Everytime we do I am gratefull, it is comfortable but leaves me just a bit sad for all the things I missed. He really is a great guy.

You see, by the time I was 2 I had a new Dad. My biological father stepped back. I didnt have every other weekend visits, or fights about money or visitation between my parents. I watch my kids go through that now, and it pains me, though I understand on some cerebral level. So I grew up knowing a father figure. He loved me without a doubt. He often told me he fell in love with me first and my Mom later. I have a very stable memory of family. For that gift I am gratefull to both theses men.

The Dad I grew up died last thanksgiving. So I am down to 3. 3? yes... bear with me, I will get there. His passing has caused a great deal of turmoil, both internal and familial. I am always surprised at the triggers that make me cry now. A song, "Life in the fast lane" by The Eagles, a childs laugh, a stretch of road. I am going in a few weeks to visit a friend in a town I lived in many years ago. I am excited, but also a little aprehensive because of the memories there.

I aquired my third Dad through marriage. My Mom married a wonderfull man. He has become not only my Dad also my friend. Zig and I love to go camping with them. It is less like family and more like meeting up with old friends. He adores my Mom. And I adore him.

My fourth Dad is also acquired by marriage. This would be my father in law. "Ziggys Daddy" as he sometimes comments on Zigs blog. I am fortunate to have married so well. I love Zig AND I have great in laws. We like to hang out and party with them too. He is a smart man, with infinite real life wisdom and an equally twisted sense of humor. I am very gratefull.

So to all my Dads:

Thank you for all your gifts. I love the person I am today. You all have had a
hand in the recipe of Me. I look forward to growing old with you all in my life for many years to come.

To my husband: thank you for aquiring The Princess and being her Dad. I know as the years pass she will think of you more fondly. As a woman, finding a man that loves your child as much as you is one of the most difficult task ever. I am very lucky to be loved by such a generous man.

To The Princess's Dad: I am sorry for all your pain right now. I wish your Dad and family the health and peace. Thank you for giving me the gift of her and for continuing to be a part of her life.

Cows in water.... The finale 2007

Several months ago I decided a dance class would help me get back and shape, learn some skills and be fun in the process.

It WAS great fun. I enjoyed the hard work and the exercise and sharing with The Princess. I have a new apprecitation for what she does weekly. Ballet in particular was grueling. Tap was a much more fun way to break a sweat.

I was suckered into the end of year show for a nice tap number to New York, New York sung by Ol Blue Eyes himself. I have the costume: black pants, silver sequined top, tap shoes, hat and cane. I practiced and practiced and resigned to have my voluputous ass clearly in veiw of all other the parents. But it felt good to have accomplished something.

The Princess, of course is in multiple numbers. She has ballet, tap, hip-hop and tumbling. She has been so pround of Mom. We did pictures together for tap. She insisted I get a solo pic. She very much wants to do a dance number with Mom. Maybe next show.

Tomorrow is the the big day. Unfortunately, I have been out of commision for a week. I was hoping to recover before the big day, but I am still very sore and tired. I havent worked all week. Zig is worried about me, he doesnt say much about it, but I know. He hates when I am ill and I cant risk a relapse just so the "the show must go on". I am dissappointed and relieved all at the same time. Usually, I assist shuttling the 4 to 6 year olds to stage and the greenroom. I look forward to finally watching her from the seats. This year I will clap louder, and be prouder, because I have danced in her shoes.

8 things about me....

8 Random Facts MEME
# I have to post these rules before I give you the facts.
# Each player starts with eight random facts/habits about themselves.
# People who are tagged need to write their own blog about their eight things and post these rules.
# At the end of your blog, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names.
# Don’t forget to leave them a comment telling them they’re tagged, and to read your blog.

Gretty was kind enough to tag me. I will get her back I swear. LOL

1. I love chocolate, especially dark chocolate. But I am starting to think it gives me headaches.

2. I swear I will never ever ever ever let someone stick a needle in my spine again.

3. My mom and my spouse are my best friends. I do have a best friend from highschool too, we have a cute lost and found story.

4. I never wanted to be a Mom, but I am glad I did.

5. I wish I didnt crave sex so much.

6. I have worked the night shift for 10 years but never learned to appreciate coffee.

7. I have become painfully aware that I can not do it all. Work, house, relationships.... something had to give. I hate my messy house.

8. My Mom is my hero. The woman is amazing. I am still trying to figure out how she managed 4 kids plus some, college and a career. She got 7 girls total through highschool without any geting pregnant. She teaches special needs kids. She is always there for those in her life. She has driven across country to retrieve my greiving sister, she has spent days in the hospital with me, she has been there for the birth of her grandchildren even when its 5 states away, she is smart, fun, sexy and the woman I want to be when I grow up.

I tag - bunny, dial up princess, mike, lestat, Blued eyed vixen, slut x, Thebiker and(separately) The Teacher.

30ish ish both answers

6. Have you or your partner been injured so badly during sex that you/they had to go to the hospital?

Not yet....but I have had partners ask if I needed an ambulance... tremors are scary to some people I guess.

7. Have you been to a strip club or "titty bar"? (Hooters does NOT count.) If so, did you get a lap dance?

Again on my list....perferably if someone else pays... I'd even go with my partner if they were comfortable with that....

Bonus (as in optional): Have you ever had a "blog crush" (i.e., a crush on someone, of whatever gender, that you haven't met in person but only know through their blog)? Who? (Link, please, if you dare!) =P

ARRRRGGGGG!. Be forewarned: this be a movie review!

I crawled out of bed sore and achey early this afternoon. After checking the local theater schedule I had a plan.

Just before 3pm I washed, dressed and went to pick up The Princess. When we arrived at the theater she wanted to see Shrek but Mom had other plans. I needed to see it before someone ruined it for me.

Cabin Boy: Yo ho,haul together, hoist the colours high/ Heave ho, thieves and beggars, never shall we die!

I love the Pirates of Caribean trilogy. At Worlds End is an instant classic. It has it all. Love, intrigue, alliances, betrayal. I laughed, I cringed, I wanted to shout at the screen. The plot twists are many but easy to spot(mostly). The movie is visually stunning, the sound track fun and moody. Did I give to much away? I hope not. I cant wait for these to come out as a box set. We cant wait to see how the did some of the scenes.

I am glad The Princess went with me. Except she smelled like a pirate. Really, what is so hard about soap and water? The Heavens know what she mixes with water when I am not looking.... you think a shower would be fun! Not only did she need soap, but she snuggled into her seat with a blanket from the car. It reminded me of watching movies at the drive in, before the broadcasted the sound on FM. We just may have to find one of the few remaing drive ins before they are gone.

Despite the odd Princess odor, some of my favorite moments of the movie are when she leaned her head to my shoulder. Mind you.... I was not allowed to put my arm around her...nooooooo.... she made me take back my hug. But mutliple times throughout the movie I would smile as her noggin rested on upper arm.

The other cool thing that happened is this is the second.... yes second time.... she has sat completely through a film. That speaks volumes. The only other time this happened was The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe. Go see The Pirates of Carribean, The Worlds End on the big screen. It was well worth it.

Note: this review is my opinion and my opinion only. I love big epics, twisted humor, fairy tales and love stories.

71

Dirty Filthy Princess requested an explaination of 71. I dedicate this post to the sexually curious everywhere.

I have always been sexually alive. My earliest memories make most people look at me strangely. I have taught those that thought age gave them advantge. How silly.
When it comes to sexuality, age's only influence is time for exposure. Imagination and reading and discussion are much bigger factors in commanding a sexual repoitore to make a whore blush.

I have read mens magazines since I started growing boobies. I delight in reading whatever "sex manuals" I can get my hands on, I have lost count on how many. Any chance I get I will discuss sex with almost anyone, almost anywhere. Although I reserve the right to protect jobs and kids. So even shortly after highschool I thought I was reasonably well educated in passion. I do believe I was well educated for my age.

Five years ago something happened. I became re-involved with man of my dreams. It was a fantasy come true on multiple levels. One of his favorite pastimes was a chat programs called IRC. Not only was it fun, but it saved much money on our phone bills before I migrated south into his house.

One of the things I learned on IRC was I was not alone. Frequently in my life, when talking with other woman, I felt like some kind of freak. It was nice to talk to other woman with high sex drives. The other thing I learned on IRC was my imagination was not so imaginative. I had experienced a fair number of sexual delights, I just didnt know they had particular names. LOL. [I learned LOL on irc too:)] [ and I learned :)too, LOL]

Here is the part Dirty Filthy Princess asked for..... 71!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

71 is 69 plus 2. Simple math right? WRONG! Because when your talking about sex, adding anything is really like multipling. 69 + 2 = WOOOHOOO!!!! So if your giving oral, and recieveing oral, (which in my opinion is about one of the greatest positions ever!... but I digress...). Where was I? oh ya giving and recieving simultaneous oral/gential contact.... so that is 69...we are all on board right? GOOD. Now add two fingers. Be creative. Personally I perfer both add ons, and I am not really choosey about where they go either. Use them both in my quivering wet quim. Split the digits between my available holes, just be gentle and lubed.

What does this have to do with IRC? Well IRC is where I first heard the phrase 71. Not being too shy, I asked what that meant. The mischeivous response was, "69+2".
There were many other words and phrases learned for the things I have done or dream about. I have also learned about spreader bars, and had heart felt conversations about BDSM, foot fetishes, crossdressing, bisexuality, homosexuality, shapes and sizes, etc etc etc. I do not always agree. I am not always interested in having the same experiences myself, but I am always willing to appreciate the how, what, why of sexual excitement.

In closing I must add that blogging has also had a similar impact on me. HNT and FNF taught me to appreciate my body as it is, the good, the bad and sexy. Reading other people experinces has also validated my sexuality. I have a comfort and confidence I never experienced before. And I like it. Thank you for all those that open their worlds or create them and visit mine.
